The Binz NYC® Zine — Volume #001 is a self-published editorial piece that captures the visual identity and creative world of The Binz NYC®, a graffiti-inspired art and apparel brand. Designed as an extension of the brand, the zine translates street culture into a printed format, combining original artwork, photography, and apparel documentation. The publication explores themes of self-expression, movement, and New York City influence through a layered, mixed-media approach. Gritty textures, bold typography, and raw compositions reflect the authenticity of graffiti culture while maintaining a cohesive visual system. This project allowed me to expand my practice into editorial design, focusing on layout, pacing, and storytelling. Every spread was intentionally crafted to feel immersive and unfiltered—mirroring the spontaneous nature of street art while presenting it in a structured format. The zine serves as both a collectible artifact and a branding tool, reinforcing The Binz NYC’s identity as limited, expressive, and rooted in real-world creative culture.
